Working principle
The gear metering pump works through a pair of meshing gears, one of which is the active gear and the other is the passive gear.
The active gear drives the passive gear to rotate, and a small gap is left between the gear and the pump housing. When the gear rotates,
the closed volume between the teeth increases, forming a local vacuum, and the liquid is sucked into the suction chamber under the
action of the pressure difference. As the gears continue to rotate, the liquid is pushed forward and sent to the discharge chamber. When
the liquid is sent to the discharge chamber, the two gears gradually mesh, the volume decreases, and the liquid is squeezed to the discharge
port for discharge. Since the gear metering pump has a fixed displacement, the corresponding amount of liquid can be accurately discharged
by adjusting the speed of the gear metering pump, achieving high-precision metering and delivery of the fluid.
